About us
Filipe & Viricel is a design studio founded in 2018 by Micael Filipe and Romain Viricel. Drawing upon their diverse experiences, they decided to join forces and establish a practice nurtured by a common commitment to foster a dialogue between industrial processes and refinement in draughtsmanship. With their sensitive approach to details, affinities with well-curated crafts, and their knowledge of industrial processes, their products embody a future rooted in our heritage. The practice specializes in developing furniture, lighting and interiors. In 2019, they won the Swiss Design Award.
Recognizing the profound influence that objects exert on individuals and their surroundings, Filipe & Viricel are mindful of creating objects that serve a practical purpose and enrich the lives of the people who use them. Learning from the object’s past to understand the present and anticipate the future. This approach allows them to seamlessly blend tradition with innovation, resulting in designs that meet our future requirements and resonate with the evolving needs we are facing.
